I am out of the office selling all day, but I do want to keep my Facebook profile updated for my clients. The times I get the most response to my status updates are 11AM, 1PM and 2PM. How can I schedule my updates to only appear at these times?

There's a free tool called Hootsuite that can help you schedule your social media messages (Facebook personal and pages, Linkedin, Ping.fm, Wordpress, Myspace and Foursquare).

You can also set up team members (e.g. your virtual assistant) so that you don't have to give out your user ID and password to others. Simply make them part of your team.

Scheduling your Facebook posts on Hootsuite is easy:

First, connect your Facebook account to Hootsuite

1. Log into hootsuite
2. Go to "settings" (bottom left)
3. Click the Facebook tab
4. Click "Connect with Facebook"

Now, start posting:
1. Type in your message.
2. Select the networks that you want to post your message to (in your case: Facebook)
3. Select the time and date you want your message posted.

That's it.
Always here when you need me. I am the forum administrator and a web designer for Online Design Bureau.

There's a program for anything, isn't there? That's cool, and I'm sure a lot of users are happy to hear about this.

I didn't know this was possible. Thank you for sharing this info. I plan to use this in the near future.

Aside from coordinating messages for events weeks ahead, I can imagine some people would also find it useful for messaging with people in other time zones, just a few hours later.

I guess it could help them not get lost in a bunch of new messages that piled up overnight?
