Is there a way I can switch off this feature altogether as it defaults to 'yes subscribe'?

Or will I have to keep remembering to do it myself each time? (difficult with my few braincells)

Hi Stav,

I've switched off the automatic subscriptions. From now on forum dwellers will have to subscribe to the topic if they want to stay updated about replies.

We'll review this policy on 03/01/10.

Let me know if there are any more problems.

Just to add my two cents, I'm glad you turned it off, though I thought there was something in the CP where you could do. I haven't received notices. You know what the worst type of subscriptions are? The ones that tell you that you have subscribed to the thread. Most are more intelligent than that, but not always.
