Carry business cards with you wherever you go. Have your Web address printed on them. You can hand them out to anyone you meet. Just think how many people you meet on a daily basis. Be friendly, be interested, and no matter what, always hand them your business card at the end of the conversation. If they don't need your services, no harm done. If they do, you just took the first step in helping them out.
Always here when you need me. I am the forum administrator and a web designer for Online Design Bureau.

This is a good tip I can see the benefit of putting your website on your business card at the very least, and in the signature section of all your emails.

This is a great tip. I fully agree that the more your business/site is introduced and shared with others the more people will remember it. Adding it to your signature on your email is also a great idea. Also, remember to add it somewhere on any social networking site you are a part of.

my business card does not have a postal address...just my mail id, phone no. and web address...it's neat and people automatically go to the website just to satisfy their curiosity...

I used to play in a band years ago and another band on the circuit had stickers that they'd put everywhere. I'm sure they annoyed some people with them, but they certainly got their share of impressions. That was before the net.

This sounds like a more civilized approach.

atula, I like your idea of not putting a physical address on the business card. I am going to remember that one.
