ther than advertising revenue you earn from your website, do you use other ways to earn money online?
If yes, how long have you been doing so, through what means and how much have you earned to date?
If not, why not?

Hello Toowise

I just wanted to go over this subject about affiliate marketing and affiliate program advertising, getting the best return for your money. First of I would like to say that I know you heard the old saying about it takes money to make money... In a way that is true and then it's not, Let me explain!

For the past 8 months I dedicated myself to one free affiliate program using free advertising and marketing tips. To some extent free advertising works, but it works best when you own your own website instead of an affiliate program. I was making money with free advertising such as IntstantBuzz.com and TrafficSwarm.com, the best two free traffic exchanges in my opinion.

But then I ventured out into paid advertising because free advertising works, but it takes alot more effort and time wasted especially if you do not get the results you were expecting to get. They say you can't get rich overnight... but you can make that decision and choice. When finding the perfect advertising for your business or affiliate program you already know that you have to find a site that has the same content and target as yours.

Make sure you do your research on how much raw unique visitors this site is recieving and please if necessary, do not use banner advertising, you will be getting wasted impressions and maybe 1 or 2 clicks...lol Get your site featured onto a heavy traffic network that your researched on. I necessarily don't like CPC because they are just to expensive, and you get your clicks but doesn't guarantee you get your sales

Just because of one decision I made yesterday with paid advertising, I took my affiliate program from an average $1600 per month to double those numbers. And the system I like to use I call "refunnelling" If I spelled that right But anyway what this is you make the money from your affiliate program then you refunnel some of that money into advertising for that exact affiliate program, so you just keep raising your revenue...

But if you have any tips or just want to discuss different forms of affiliate programs or advertising, I'll be glad to talk

Besides affiliate marketing and Google Adsense, I earn money from my own products and sell advertising space on my blog. My blog also brings me exposure to earn money as a business consultant and speaker at conferences.

Thanks, but I'm interested in learning about affiliate marketing. Which are the better advertisers to work with?

I write, doing SEO and blog bits here and there as well as reviews. Those are fun and easy to do. There's nothing like just speaking your mind about products!

The most money I've made online this quarter has been from licensed downloads of production music. That venture came out ahead of my efforts with SEO article sales, article royalties and Adsense.
