Wordpress really shines when you host it on your own server. Then it becomes the Swiss Army Knife of blogs, totally expandable and customizable. Recommended for the more savvy web user.

Living Stories is a Google initiative that functions as a personal RSS Feed reader, but it only focuses on story or news event. The user can change the story so that it can compensate for info they've already seen.

Google has now released a plugin for WordPress where you can test their Living Stories service.

Always here when you need me. I am the forum administrator and a web designer for Online Design Bureau.

I'm still not hooked into this RSS thing. Now that I'm on a current computer, I need to check it out and figure it out.

I should bite the bullet and figure it out, but my brain is too tired to deal with it.

I agree with both you and orrymain...I cannot figure out RSS nor its usefulness to me. But I suppose it must be useful, because there's a lot of talk about it!

I assume the user can't change the story content but when you return to the articles, they appear with highlighted or grayed-out sections to direct you to new info?

At first glance, this reminded me of Wikipedia entries, which I understand can be altered by users and for that reason I tend to take those with a grain of salt.

I'm still learning about this too.
