Great advise, Stav.
Here's a 5 step approach to getting your PR release in Google News:
1) Decide on the keyword phrases that matter most for your business (those search phrases people type into the search box in the hope to find a site like yours), so that the listing in Google News also helps your rankings in the search engines
2) Place this phrase into the Press release title, the last paragraph and repeat it roughly 2 times in the body of your release
3) If your product or service isn't well known, don't just use its name - it might not make any sense to anyone, but add a proper description of what it is and how it benefits the buyer.
4) Post your release on your Website and if possible, link to it from the home page.
5) Submit it to PR services that syndicate to Google News. As Stave mentioned, these PR services include:
*
PRNewsWire
*
BusinessWire
PRweb is also a good service, especially if you really want to spread your message. If you have something that the press would be interested in reprinting, something REALLY news worthy, it is worth paying the $360 for maximum exposure.
